  • Great list Yasmine!

I must admit that I have on my list some of your ideas so I’ll have to find new ones to get to a complete list of 30 :D

I’ll come back very soon :)

  • 1) candle in a teacup (example: http://img.diynetwork.com/DIY/2003/09/18/dic227_4ca_e.jpg)
    2) ashtray
    3) catch an insect / mouse
    4) use it to beg for money
    5) store pills
    6) store your denture
    7) store soap (soap dish)
    8) use the cup to select a small quantity of bulk food
    9) use a small teacup as spoon to eat soup from a bigger plate :)
    10)pick berries in the cup

    Cooking
    11) use the cup to cut round pieces of dough
    12) use the cup/the plate to give a shape to dough
    13) use the cup as bowl for candies, peanuts, etc
    14) bake crèmes and cookies in it (I think it works)
    15) serve ice cream, fruit salads, puddings, etc

    And now I go wild:

    16) Teacup with a quote /nice message on the bottom. You’ll be able to read it after you finish drinking the tea

    17) Restaurant where people eat and drink only from teacups :p

    18) Blank teacups that you can personalize with tempera or markers, and offer them with tea to your work colleagues. You can write something like: “Thanks for your help”

    19) Personalized teacups for gifts

    20) Advertising in a teacup

I wrote less than 30 ideas because some of them have already been mentioned by Yasmine.

  • So, who’s next?

You don’t have to come up with 30 ideas as it’s more difficult now.

P.S Yasmine will soon recieve a mail with some cool creativity ressources

  • Radu

Woaaaw! That’s quite a number of ideas!

oh sorry i’m late, and i can only think of a few more to add to the mighty collection amassed :P

    1) draw venn diagrams!
    2) hold paper clips
    3) a mini trash bin (especially after finishing the drink :P)
    4) cover sensitive body parts when naked (not that i’ve ever tried it before)
    5) draw the sun (its like where the sun is at the corner of the paper)
    6) the water vessel to dip paint brushes in when painting
    7) a weapon!
    8) a present! especially those personalised ones :) can paint something nice on it and give it away
    9) to breathe steam - like when someone’s gotta cold, put hot water in the teacup and breathe in the steam which will ease the stuffed nose :)
    10) ok i’m stuck… to play “see who gets it in” like when you’re really bored, you can stand from a distance and try to throw something in the cup. very good ice-breaker i’d think :P

  • Isabel

Really nice ideas! Haven’t made my list yet but I guess I am too late! ;)

Maggie, want to share how to diminish puffy eyes using a tea cup (3)? I am curious now!

Adrian, you’ve got some unique ideas there! Although I am not sure how others would interpret #18 :) Have you done this??

  • Adrian

…number 18, yes… here I am sucking on a lemon and reminiscing the moment when this happened… the torch-red sunset on the seashore, a blanket thrown negligently and some leftovers of wine and cliché avec maux d’estomac… the wind murmuring through the pages of a Linda Howard novel lying some feet away… and then number 18 happened…
